Young Actors Beginners Workshop Ages 13-17 (11:00am-12:30pm)

Are you a young actor looking to develop your creative voice? Do you have a young actor and want to provide them creative enrichment? Whether you’ve been on stage before or are just starting out, our Young Actors Beginners Workshop provides valuable knowledge from Theatre Professionals and an opportunity for hands-on experience!

This fun-filled 6 week course is designed for any young actors (7-12 and 13-17) who are looking to gain a deeper understanding of the art of Acting for the stage, all experience levels are welcome! Young Actors will develop skills such as improv, character development, performance technique and more using scene work and dramatic exercises! And lots of games! The first 5 weeks will focus on the different principles and fundamentals of Acting with a showcase opportunity on the 6th and final week.

Who: 13-17.

What to bring: Wear clothes and shoes you can move in. ALWAYS bring water and snacks, lunch is not necessary. 

**The instructor will provide scenes and monologues but you may bring scenes or monologues in for consideration.

When: This a 6-week Course, starting on November 8 and concluding with a recital on December 20 at our theatre in La Habra (There is no class on Thanksgiving weekend).

Where: Our first 5 classes will take place at our rehearsal hall in La Mirada. The recital will take place at our theatre in La Habra.

Ages 13-17: First 5 classes: 9:30am-10:30am

Please arrive 15 mins early to check in so we may begin class right on time. 

The final workshop recital on 12/20 starts at 6pm for all students. (arrival time will be determined closer to the event).
